Location

Centennial is located at the City Centre Airport situated in the heart of Edmonton and less than a half-hour from anywhere in the city. Edmonton, the capital of the province of Alberta, is well known for its beautiful river valley, numerous summer festivals, expansive park system, and excellent recreational opportunities. With a population of nearly one million and growing, it is a thriving city that enjoys one of the lowest costs of living among major Canadian centres and there is no provincial sales tax.

Edmonton hosts a diverse number of summer festivals. There is the world famous Fringe Festival, the largest festival of alternative theatre in North America. The Folk festival, Jazz City, The Works, Street Performers Festival, Klondike Days, Shakespeare in the Park, First Night and A Taste of Edmonton are just some of the many cultural and musical events held in the city annually.

The largest park system of any urban centre in North America, Edmonton's River Valley is approximately 12 times larger than New York City's Central Park.

Edmonton is located just a few hours' drive from Banff and Jasper National Parks in the beautiful Canadian Rocky Mountains. Both parks offer excellent skiing in the winter and unequalled hiking and sightseeing in the summer.
